Clever Nodes ("we," "our," or "us") provides workflow integration and social messaging automation services via our application n8n reel Automation - IG. This Privacy Policy outlines how we collect, process, and protect information when interacting with Instagram accounts and their audiences via the Meta Platform APIs.

1. Information We Process

To provide automated direct messaging and comment moderation, our integration processes limited, temporary interaction data received via authorized webhooks, including:

• Instagram-Scoped IDs (IGSIDs): Unique numeric identifiers assigned by Meta to route automated replies to users.
• Interaction Content: Public comments left on authorized posts and incoming direct message text sent to connected professional accounts.
• Timestamps and Metadata: Basic event details (e.g., comment IDs, message delivery timestamps) required to trigger real-time actions.

We do not collect or store passwords, payment details, or personal biographical information beyond the identifiers provided directly by Meta's APIs.

2. Purpose of Processing

All data handled by our application is used solely to execute user-requested automations, including:

• Sending automated replies to public comments ("Private Replies" or threaded comment responses).
• Delivering instant conversational customer service responses to inbound direct messages.
• Maintaining secure, periodic authentication refresh tokens to prevent service interruptions.

We do not use collected data for advertising profiling, nor do we sell, rent, or monetize interaction data to third parties.

3. Data Storage and Retention

Interaction payloads (messages and comments) are processed in real time and are not permanently retained on external databases. OAuth access tokens used to maintain the API connection are encrypted and stored in secure self-hosted environments strictly for authentication continuity.

4. Third-Party Sharing

Data is transferred exclusively between the client's connected Instagram account and Meta's official Graph API infrastructure. We do not transfer or disclose any Meta user data to external data brokers or unauthorized third parties.

5. User Data Deletion Instructions

We respect user privacy and adhere to Meta's Data Deletion requirements. Users or account owners who wish to remove their data or revoke automation access may do so at any time:

• Revoking Access: You can disconnect our application at any time by navigating to your Instagram account Settings & Privacy > Website Permissions > Apps and Websites and removing access for n8n reel Automation - IG.
• Requesting Deletion: To request deletion of any cached interaction metadata or credentials associated with your account, submit a written request to contact@clevernodes.cloud with your Instagram handle. All related tokens and transient records will be purged within 48 hours of verification.

6. Compliance with Meta Platform Terms

Our automation practices strictly comply with the Meta Platform Terms and Developer Policies, honoring 24-hour messaging windows, user opt-outs, and standard privacy standards.
